GISBORNE Herald journalist Justine Tyerman picked up a serious award on the Cathay Pacific Journey Media Awards in Auckland on Friday.

The story about tramping the Hollyford Observe with Ngai Tahu Tourism gained the New Zealand Maori Tourism Award for the Finest Journey Story a couple of Maori Tourism Expertise.
